Overview
Would you like to lead a group of people on a local ride? Pedal United is an initiative organised by Ebike Freedom CIC and funded by Paths For All. It helps ethnic minorities and new immigrants in Glasgow to integrate through cycling. We need volunteers to lead bike rides in different languages. Each ride is about 1.5 hours on a pre-planned, safe, flat path, such as along a canal and cycle trail. Free training is provided. Training is conducted in English. The participating volunteers will be invited to join an 8-hour cycle ride leader training provided by Cycling Scotland qualified trainers, first aid course and bike repair and maintenance training. Sign up with Ebike Freedom CIC to join. By becoming a ride leader, you can help people ride together in a safe, friendly, and supportive way.
